FieldInbox ("we," "our," or "us") provides a job and customer management platform for home services contractors. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use the FieldInbox website, mobile app, and integrations.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
- Name, email address, authentication identifier, and organization membership
- Sign-in information provided by enabled authentication methods, including Google and Sign in with Apple
- Account preferences and settings
Job and Customer Data
- Customer names, phone numbers, email addresses, service addresses, and notes
- Job descriptions, categories, urgency, status, scheduling, and assignment information
- Incoming and outgoing business messages received through a connected communications provider such as Quo/OpenPhone
- Customer photos you upload, including filename, file type, size, and upload time
Google Calendar Data
If you connect your Google Calendar, we read your calendar events to identify and import home services jobs. This may include event titles, dates and times, descriptions, and locations. We store OAuth credentials needed to maintain the connection. We do not write or modify events on your Google Calendar.

- To provide the FieldInbox service, including AI-powered job categorization
- To use OpenAI to determine whether messages and calendar events represent jobs and to categorize and summarize those jobs

- To improve and maintain the service
- To communicate with you about your account
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate FieldInbox:
- PropelAuth and enabled identity providers — to manage user accounts and sign-in, including Google and Apple
- OpenAI — to process relevant message and calendar-event content for job identification, categorization, summarization, and information extraction
- Google Calendar API — to read your calendar events for import and organization
- Quo/OpenPhone — to receive connected business phone messages and contact updates
- Hosting, database, and file-storage providers — to operate the application and store account, job, customer, message, and photo data
5. Google API Services User Data Policy
FieldInbox's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Specifically, FieldInbox:
- Only reads Google Calendar data to import and organize your events within FieldInbox
- May send relevant calendar-event content to OpenAI solely to provide job identification, categorization, summarization, and information extraction
- Does not use Google user data for advertising or to serve ads
- Does not sell Google user data
6. Data Storage
We use service providers for application hosting, database storage, and private photo storage. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
7. Data Retention & Deletion
You can permanently delete your account from the Account section of the FieldInbox mobile app. Account deletion removes your login, personal account data, and private Google Calendar credentials. Organization-owned jobs, customers, messages, and photos may remain available to other members of that organization. We retain information while needed to provide the service and may retain limited information in backups, for fraud prevention, to resolve disputes, or when required by law.
8. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising. We share information with organization members and the service providers described in Section 4 only as needed to operate FieldInbox. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect users, the public, or our rights.
9. Your Rights
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Disconnect Google Calendar in FieldInbox or revoke access through your Google Account settings
